First Fridays at the Guggenheim
Do you think Solomon Guggenheim would turn over in his grave if he knew that on the first Friday of every month his museum turns into a giant club?
This season the Guggenheim presents world renowned DJ's: Tommie Sunshine and James Friedman, Oct 7; Matthew Dear & Ryan Elliott, Nov 4; Funkstorung, Dec 2; and Diplo, Jan 6. Grab a cocktail from the cash bar, and explore the fall exhibition RUSSIA! - a major exhibition of over 275 masterpieces, many never before seen in the United States. All galleries are open.
Tonight, December 2, and JAN 6, 9 PM-1 AM -- $15 admission (cash only at the door); FREE for Guggenheim Members.
