13th Annual Superheroes Ball

Any decent New Yorker knows that Times Square is certainly not the place to be on New Year's Eve. Hoards of people and impossible taxi hailing render it quite possibly the worst night in Manhattan. However, if your trip to Europe fell through at the last minute and you find yourself in the category of decent adventurer stuck in the city for New Year's, fear not. The LVHRD Foundation has come up with an impressive scheme to bring fun and celebration to a select group of creative-minded New Yorkers.

The 13th Annual Superheroes Ball will be held the Eve of New Year's Eve, Friday, December 30 from 9pm until 2am. Combining "the mischievous, costumed revelry of a masquerade with the more macabre intrigue of a murder mystery," this curious fete certainly promises to be spectacular. Tear down the walls of your cubicle. Bring those knee boots, capes and jumpsuits out from storage. Hop into the nearest phone booth and remember what it feels like to fly. Space is limited and civilians are strictly prohibited. Delve into your imagination and come celebrate last year's accomplishments while basking in the intrigue of a year yet begun.

Heroes and villains alike are welcome. But act fast. Registration ends December 28th.
